Mondays... UGH. How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways...
1. You suck.
2. You suck.
3. You suck...
You get the idea.
Monday mornings are like broccoli - a necessary evil. Even so, why is motivation so... hard to find? As I type this, right this very minute, I'm trying to find my own.
What's a mama to do? Will listing out the reasons I should go help? Let's explore.
1. I have to Feed My Family. At the end of the day, this is the only thing that really matters, isn't it? I have to go to work because if I don't, I'll be fired. Then I can't FMF.
2. Once started, half over (or something like that). The weekend is that much closer, now.
3. Today I'll do something productive for my future.
That last one really does help. If I tell myself I'll do something productive for me, it helps me get through the necessary evil that is Monday. Personal progress is a much more powerful motivation than working toward someone else's goals.
And that's it. That's all I got... for now, at least. Soon I'll expand and share with you time-tested motivators that you, too, can adopt into practice. But today's Monday, so let's keep it basic. Check back often, because it. will. be. good.
In the meantime, I'm gonna go get it - and you should do the same.
